Each uses the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB adapter?

I am currently connected to the internet on my PC using USB WiFi adapter. Nintendo sells a USB access point is connected to the Internet and the PC shares the Wii or DS. The question is, because I using the USB adapter to connect to the internet, do you think that Nintendo USB Access Point cooperate / work with a USB adapter from the PC to share Internet? I can not connect directly to the top of the Wii, because the antenna built into the Wii is no connection. Can I use the expensive adapter and Directional antenna on the PC.
